Club run reports - 2nd July

Category 6 ride led by Bob Brown

Eleven, including two guests left Allenburys bound for Cammas Hall Fruit Farm but didn’t get far before Captain Bob suffered his second puncture in successive days. Disgracing himself by not having (a) the strength to get his tyre off (thanks Martin B) and (b) not having functioning spare inner tube or a puncture repair outfit, he had beg a new inner tube (thanks Marcia). After much faffing about by the ride leader, the group got on the way again and made the café stop without further mishap. Rapid service was enjoyed at the delightful Tea Barn and we were on our way back home into the headwind. Ian Smith left us here to make his own way home.
