Tracks, Waypoints and Coursepoints
We have included the locations of all the controls (including information controls) as waypoints (GPX) and coursepoints (TCX). This may enable your navigation device to tell you how far it is to the next control and to pop up a message when you arrive. We have only been able to test this on a very limited set of devices (all Garmin) but the following procedure has worked for us.
- Do not use Garmin connect!
- Instead, connect your device to a computer via a USB cable.
- Copy the TCX or FIT file into into the NewFiles folder.
- Safely disconnect the device from the computer.
- The track, complete with coursepoints should now be visible on your device
Good luck with this!
Note that the messages that pop up do not remain for very long. We suggest you add the field Crs. Pt. Dst. to one of your screens so you can see how far it is to the next control.
