Club run reports - 9th March

A proper spring day, ideal for a gentle circular ramble through country lanes to Vanstones and back, with plenty of hills, which of course we all enjoyed immensely.  The ride was marred only by the ride leader complaining about his sore thumb (dishwasher injury).

The club hadn’t visited Vanstones since last year, when service was inexplicably slow.  Today, however, all was fine.  We arrived at 11 am, no queue and the very decent food and drinks arrived promptly.  I suspect the latest crop of school-age staff have bedded in. We should probably visit more frequently.
