Club ‘10’ Time Trial League – Brickendon

This is the exciting news you were all waiting for… we are joining North Road CC this year with our own league competition in their 16 races on the 10-mile Brickendon circuit on Tuesday nights from 6th May.  All dates are below, so make sure they are in your diaries,   race starts at 7pm from the club house in Brickendon.

The great thing about doing a time trial is that you can measure your progress through the series which can be very encouraging as you watch your fitness improve  AND you get free homemade cakes and tea/coffee afterwards.

Remember to arrive in enough time to sign in and get a race number which needs to be returned after the event.  Cost of the event is £5.00 per rider per event and you can pay by cash or card on the day. 

Safety

Some safety requirements for all riders:-

1. CTT regulations require all riders to wear a HARDSHELL HELMET that meets safety standards.

2. You must have working white front and red rear lights either flashing or constant fitted to the machine in a position visible to all road users and active whilst the machine is in use.

3. No U-turns in the start or finish areas

Don’t forget that there are also annual awards for the fastest TT results at both 10 and 25 miles so if you take part in any of these TT’s through other clubs then please let me know your results.  We also have Road and Track Racing Awards for those of you who take part in these, again let me know your results and you could be on the podium at next year’s awards lunch.  This year we are also recognising on-line races so if you take part in a virtual TT race then let me know how you have got on and we are also giving an award out for the longest on-line distance ride.  No excuses for bad weather then.
