Welwyn Track League - 7th June

Brian(51x15) and Tony(49x15) were at the track again. There was a large field due to the warm weather.  Brian finished 6th in the scratch race. They then raced in a A/B mixed up block handicap, Tony rode really well in his race and finished 4th, Brian was 7th or 8th in his.
They then rode odd numbered devil, Tony showed good skill and finished 4th. In the evens devil Brian showed poor skill and was eliminated with about 8 people left.
In the 10 miler the first sprint prime wasn't accelerating with half a lap to go and Tony was about 4th wheel and went for it Brian was about 8th wheel and followed a few others and hit the gas and went past the others and nicked it off Tony at the line.  Brian then went for a second prime but missed out.   He the couldn't get back on the back of the group and Tony had gone pop as well so both got off.
