Cat 6 run led by Danny H
11 of us set of from ware to the airfield at stapleford abbotts in glorious sunshine. Our route took us through the Lavers to Morton and down through Toot hill and Stanford rivers. While enjoying our refreshments we were able to watch the aircraft taxiing right out side the cafe and a helicopter land and take off. A shorter route back with only one minor indecent. Phil the power managing to get stung on the ear and receiving emergency treatment by our 'qualified' paramedic, captain Bob. I knew that first aid course would come in handy.
Today also saw the return of miss Pike after a long absence and I have to say a well done for managing just over 46 miles of a very hilly ride. Good to see you back Jane.

Eight of us started at Hertford for a trip to Redbourn. After a while it finally penetrated the leader's skull that there were actually nine of us. Much joking about his inability to count etc. Two miles short of the destination and I finally asked the ninth who he was as he wasn't on my list. He replied that he was out with his (Welwyn Wheelers) daughter on the North Road ride. Cue more hilarity, and a phone call between the two clubs! Good journey via Codicote, Kimpton and into Redbourn via the back door with a more direct return via Wheathampstead. Warm sunny day with no indecents!
