    A blowy night that did not slow fast Barry down.

  • Merv rode this ECCA 10 mile event at Six Mile Bottom and recorded a 26:38  - still 22 secs off his best this year!

  • Merv rode the ECCA 10 at Leaden Roding on a very warm afternoon. His time was 27:48.

  • Merv rode this Tempsford event on the A1 in a time of time 27:47.

  • Merv rode this 10.2 mile event near Newport.  He managed 28:30 which was 33 secs quicker than his previous ride on this course. He also won 5th VOS. Merv is now off his medication following his illness but says he is still waiting for a return of form.

    Also riding were a trio of 'Wheelers' Steve, Paul and Clive - time 24:56.

  • On a very cool morning with a rising NW wind Phil's 59:59 got him inside the hour by a whisker, whilst Merv clocked 1:07:37.

    Another tricky day with a cool westerly wind making life difficult on the A414 section. The photo gallery illustrates contrasting cornering styles with Tony M showing how much it is possible to lean a bike without falling off!

  • A slight breeze at Leighton Buzzard but Merv still managed 26:56.

    A windy old evening but didn’t put off 7 riders.  Phil took the win by 7 seconds.  Brian sees a fair rise in his form from the last event.  Nick Cramer taking the battle of the road bike riders.

  • Phil took time out from his busy grandparenting schedule to ride this event (in Cornwall) in 59:49.

  • Despite the distraction of some large barges on the river, Barry did this 50 in 2:14:35 in his quest for SPOCO points, east of Chelmsford.

  • Merv rode in the Icknield RC 25 on the A1 at Tempsford. It was a favourable morning for once and he was able to record what he says was a 'reasonable' time, improving on his best this year by over two minutes. His time was 1:4:17 for second Vet. on Standard. Winner was Dave Kendall Finsbury Park, beating Sam Barker with a 51:31 to Barker's 52:05.

  • In good conditions, Phil recorded 22:22, whilst Steve got 26:05.

  • At last, a race where the wind wasn't the dominant factor!!  Lots of PB's including Peter with 2:03:43.

  • The Wheeler's Open 10 mile time-trial, which took place on 25th June, resulted in a dead-heat between Luke Clarke of Team Milton Keynes and Nik Bowdler of Team PedalRevolution.co.uk. Both finished in a time of 20:08. Third was Nino Piccoli, also of Team PedalRevolution.co.uk, who was just 2 seconds behind.

    A head wind on the return leg made it a bit of a stuggle. Brian Evans returned after his bout of Pneumonia and was happy with his time.  Nick was unlucky to puncture.

  • On a warm and fairly quick (northwards) morning Peter lowered his 100 time to 4:30:01, this despite forgetting his crash helmet (amongst other things).

  • Barry's time of 23:52 was inside of 2 minutes of the winner and earned him joint seventh place and lots of SPOCO points.
