Come and Try a Wheelers' Time Trial

Hertfordshire Wheelers have announced that all the time trials they run on the Cole Green Circuit for the rest of the season will be classified as “Come and Try” events, meaning that entrants do not have to be members of clubs affiliated to Cycling Time Trials. Organiser Gareth Wignall said " these events should continue to attract the regular racers who normally take part but this is a quieter course which we think will provide a good introduction to time-trialling to anyone who is a keen cyclist and wants to pit themselves against the clock. The opportunity should also be of interest to triathletes who want to sharpen their time-trialling skills. "
The events take place on 21 June, 23 July, 30 August (all 7pm sign-on) and 1 October (sign-on 9am). Full details are on the Herts Wheelers website .
